Against the courthouse

Under a judge\u2019s price, on your schedule

Married this week

How it works

Three steps

  1. 1

    Get your license

Both of you go to any Texas county clerk with ID. It is $76 in Tarrant County. Texas makes you wait 72 hours after it is issued, unless one of you is active military or you have a Twogether certificate.

  2. 2

    Book your time

    Pick a day, a time and a place. A 60% deposit holds it: $71.40 on a signing.

  3. 3

    Get married

We meet you there, marry you, sign the license and file it with the county. The balance goes on your card afterwards.

Questions

Before you book

If you already have your license and the 72 hours have passed, often the same day or the next. Pick the time in the booking form and it tells you straight away whether it is open.

No. Short notice is the whole point of these three, so booking this week costs the same as booking next year.

Anywhere you are allowed to stand: your backyard, a park, a restaurant patio, the courthouse steps. There is no travel charge within 60 miles of Fort Worth, which covers Dallas, Arlington, Denton, Weatherford, and everywhere between.

Not in Texas. Bring whoever you like, or nobody at all.

Yes. The license is what makes it legal, and it comes from the same county clerk either way. We sign it and return it to the county, and they record it and mail it back to you.

Cancel 5 or more days before your day and 60% of what you paid comes back. Inside 5 days the deposit stays, because the time was held for you.
