$200 per booking flown
You fly aerials on assigned bookings and hand the footage to the media team to cut in. The studio sells the add-on at $400 and books you against it.
What you would do
- Fly assigned bookings, weather and airspace permitting
- Check airspace and file for authorisation where the venue needs it
- Tell the studio the week before if a flight is not going to be legal or safe
- Deliver footage to the media team the same night
What you need
- Current FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate
- Your own aircraft and your own insurance
- A reel showing event or property work
$200 per booking flown
- The add-on retails at $400, so this is half, with the studio carrying booking, coordination and the edit.
- A flight canceled for weather or airspace on the day still pays $75 if you traveled.
- Caedis Aerials works to a separately agreed wholesale rate, not this one.
Why that number: Set against the $400 the add-on retails for, leaving the operator the majority of the line while the studio keeps enough to cover coordination and the edit. The exact Caedis Aerials wholesale rate is still owed by the owner.
Paid within 7 days of the booking's balance settling, through the payout request in your panel. The studio does not pay out of a deposit it might still owe back, so payout follows settlement rather than the wedding date.
