You photograph assigned weddings and nothing else — no film, no editing unless you are separately booked for it. This is the single-craft version of the media team, for photographers who would rather shoot two weddings than shoot one and spend the week coloring it.

What you would do

Photograph assigned weddings to the agreed shot list
Hand over cards or files the same night, to the studio's naming convention
Work alongside a videographer or second shooter where the day needs one
Flag anything you could not get, before you leave

What you need

Your own bodies, lenses and lighting
One full wedding you can show start to finish
Your own liability insurance
Two card slots, or a same-day copy routine

$425 a day lead, $300 second, $150 for a portrait session

A day is up to 8 hours of coverage; beyond that, $45 an hour.
Below the full media day rate because the edit is somebody else's job.
Editing is not included. If you want the gallery too, apply for Editor as well.

Why that number: DFW second shooters are paid $200-600 for a wedding day and lead photographers well above that when the edit rides with them. Stripping the edit out puts this below the $500 media day rate while staying at the top of the shoot-only band.

Paid within 7 days of the booking's balance settling, through the payout request in your panel. The studio does not pay out of a deposit it might still owe back, so payout follows settlement rather than the wedding date.
