You take an assigned couple's planning material out of the owners' hands and build their day: the stay, the decor budget, the vendor pieces, the running order.
What you would do
- Own the plan for assigned couples end to end
- Source the venue or stay and keep the decor inside the agreed budget
- Brief every other vendor on the day's running order
- Keep the couple's planning material current in the panel
What you need
- Weddings you have planned that you can talk through
- Comfortable holding a budget and saying no to it
- Reachable by the couple during normal hours
$500 per wedding planned
- Full Wedding Planning retails at $1,500, so this is a third of it.
- Decor and venue costs are the couple's, paid through the studio, never out of your fee.
Why that number: DFW wedding planners average around $77,900 a year, roughly $37 an hour. A $600 fee on a $1,500 package is in step with that for the hours a planned wedding actually takes.
Paid within 7 days of the booking's balance settling, through the payout request in your panel. The studio does not pay out of a deposit it might still owe back, so payout follows settlement rather than the wedding date.
